This a.m. when I was quickly getting ready for work (I slept in until 6:45... heaven) the Curly Haired Fairy woke up right before I finished drying my hair. In her sleepy half naked state, she came to the bathroom to ask me to start her morning ritual which consists of me carrying her out to the kitchen (on my shoulders, back or in the front whatever floats her boat for the day) and making her coveted hot cocoa. Because I have slightly wavy hair, I have a very brief window in the morning where my hair is in what I like to refer to as optimally aired dried where I can work with my hair and show up to work looking somewhat human. I was at that point. I begged Her Highness to go wrap up in my bed until I was done, she complied.....briefly. Pushing my luck I decided to try to apply a bit of make-up, again attempting to appear human. The Queen entered the bathrooom for a third time and noticed I was applying eye shadow. She, being very girlie, wanted to try. I handed her the make up brush and with freakishly expert strokes, she applied the tiniest bit of eye shadow remnants to her eyelids. As she was holding the mirror she shreiked "Holy Moly......It's Gorgeous".
Again, I'm confident she acquired that gene from Dan's side of the family or it's a recessive gene I only carry.
